1win Series Dota 2 Punch: Rosters and Unexpected Changes

The company 1win has announced a new online Dota 2 tournament — 1win Series Dota 2 Punch, scheduled to take place from 21 to 22 December. With a prize pool of $30,000 and featuring four strong teams, the event promises to be a spectacular conclusion to the 2024 season for Eastern European esports.

Format and Participants

The following teams have been invited to compete in the 1win Series Dota 2 Punch:

  • 9Pandas (Russia)
  • Chimera Esports (Russia)
  • L1GA TEAM (Kazakhstan)
  • 1WIN (Russia)

The tournament includes four matches played in a bo5 (best-of-five) format. The winning team will claim half of the prize pool—$15,000. It is worth noting that Team Liquid (Sweden) was crowned champions of the previous 1win Series Dota 2 event, held in November.

Roster Changes for 1WIN

Special attention is focused on the Russian team 1WIN, which announced a roster change ahead of the tournament. Ukrainian player Nikita "dualrazee" Dubinsky will step in as a stand-in, replacing Ilya "Chira JUNIOR" Khirtsov in the second position. Khirtsov was moved to the inactive roster last month, as confirmed by the organisation on social media.

Current 1WIN roster:

  • Nikita "Munkushi~" Chepurnykh (Russia)
  • Nikita "dualrazee" Dubinsky (Ukraine, stand-in)
  • Alexander "Cloud" Zakharov (Russia)
  • Georgiy "swedenstrong" Zaynalabidov (Russia)
  • Yegor "RESPECT" Prokhorat (Belarus)
