Aurora's carry player '23savage' discussed his team’s performance in an interview during The International 2024. He reflected on their victory in the third game against Team Zero, the reasons for their loss in the second game, and the team's progression to the upper bracket after a challenging group stage.
Regarding their win in the third game against Team Zero, he described it as very difficult, noting that the level 25 Earth Spirit caused them significant problems.
On the reasons for their defeat in the second game, he explained that they failed to capitalise on their timing. Despite having two Black King Bars by the 20-minute mark, they focused too much on farming and struggled to organise a decisive 5v5 fight.
Discussing their advancement to the upper bracket despite a poor performance in the group stage, he remarked that they have often had a rough start at TI but somehow manage to recover and secure a spot in the upper bracket.
Previously, '23savage' had also commented on his teammate Artem 'Lorenof' Melnik, shared insights into the mistakes the team learned from the Riyadh Masters 2024, and discussed the role of the carry position in the current meta.
