Adekvat on Riyadh Masters: "Virtus.pro and LGD Are Inconsistent Mid-Tier Teams"

Commentator Rustam "Adekvat" Mavlyutov assessed Virtus.pro's chances in the play-in stage of Riyadh Masters 2024 in Dota 2. He believes the team can finish no lower than third in their group.

"There are two contenders for third place in Group A — Virtus.pro and LGD Gaming. Understandably, they are strong mid-tier teams in their regions with inconsistent play and results. In a head-to-head match, I would favor the Chinese, but a draw is the most likely result," Mavlyutov said.

Virtus.pro will face LGD Gaming in their first match at Riyadh Masters 2024. The bo2 match is scheduled for 12:00 MSK on July 4. These and other play-in participants will compete for eight slots in the event's group stage.

Riyadh Masters 2024 will be held from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. Teams including BetBoom Team, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Spirit will share a $5 million prize pool.
