During a personal Twitch stream, Andrey 'Afoninje' Afonin included Vladimir 'No[o]ne' Minenko, Saeid 'SumaiL' Hassan, and Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin in his list of the best mid lane players in Dota 2 history.
Afoninje expressed that No[o]ne unquestionably belongs in the top five mid-laners of all time, and he would even place him in the top three, although he admitted that selecting the remaining top players can be challenging. He considered the Chinese player Maybe (Luo 'Somnus`M' Yao) as a potential contender for the list. While acknowledging SumaiL's strong performance, Afoninje was less certain about his placement in the top three. He mused that No[o]ne could even be considered the best of all time, although he quickly reconsidered, adding that Dendi should also be remembered for his achievements in his prime.
Earlier, Zaур 'Cooman' Shakhmurzaev from Russia referred to Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk from Ukraine as the best carry player, praising him as unmatched in his role.
