ATF has repeatedly exploited the Hand of Midas bug in matchmaking

Offlaner Ammar 'ATF' Assaf from Team Falcons has been actively exploiting the Hand of Midas bug in Dota 2 matchmaking. This was revealed through his match history on the Dota2ProTracker website, showing that Assaf was not the only one engaging in this practice.

On 26 August, ATF played four matches, purchasing Hand of Midas multiple times in each game. It appears that Assaf deliberately used the bug to increase his chances of winning rather than in response to opponents' actions, as he was the only one exploiting it in one of the games.

The Hand of Midas bug involves rapidly farming gold by resetting the item’s cooldown. This bug occurs regardless of the chosen hero or other conditions, and it significantly impacts gameplay.
