During a joint broadcast on Jean 'Gorgc' Stefanovski's Twitch channel, Ammar 'ATF' Al-Assaf discussed how he adopted the teleportation tactic used by Yegor 'Nightfall' Grigorenko after activating Black King Bar in team fights.
According to Al-Assaf, during the DreamLeague, he and his team were closely observing Nightfall's games and those of Thailand's Aurora, noting their frequent use of this tactic. Al-Assaf explained that he learned to immediately activate Black King Bar and then teleport as soon as a fight begins. He emphasised that this approach should be the standard in Dota 2, with the carry staying in position since they can use right-click attacks, while everyone else should use Black King Bar and teleport. He noted that supporters typically end up being eliminated because they lack the resources, leaving a showdown between carries.
Earlier, Anatoly 'boo1k' Ivanov, coach of Russia's BetBoom Team, referred to the teleportation tactic under Black King Bar as an old strategy. He recalled that it was employed by various teams, including those in the Eastern Europe region.
