Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, the off-laner for Team Falcons from Jordan, shared his thoughts on the BLAST Slam I tournament, which is taking place in Copenhagen from November 26 to December 1. In an interview, the esports player mentioned that the team doesn’t have high expectations, despite the expectations from viewers.
"I don’t think we have any expectations, but other people do. That’s why people look at us so often. Honestly, we all think we’re not that good. We could easily finish in the top 10 right now. It’s definitely possible that we win first and then lose. Every team has its ups and downs. People just see us on a high, but we might hit a low. But I’m sure we can make a comeback during the tournament."
With a total prize pool of $1 million, the tournament promises exciting moments, but Team Falcons is still focused on their gameplay and ready to adapt to any situation.
In one of the videos released by Perfect World, ATF made a reference to the popular "Chill Guy" meme, further emphasising his calm and composed approach. In the video, set to a relaxing tune, ATF says: "I’m just a chilled guy who loves to play Dota 2." The original meme features a dog in a sweater and jeans, symbolising unwavering calmness, which fits Ammar's persona as a player perfectly.
BLAST Slam I continues until December 1, and viewers are looking forward to many more thrilling moments from the teams, including Team Falcons, who are continuing to showcase strong performances throughout the tournament.
