Best Heroes of Patch 7.37e: Top Supports, Off-laners, Carries, and Mid-Heroes

With every patch in Dota 2, new meta heroes emerge that dominate various roles, and patch 7.37e is no exception. In this article, we’ll explore the best heroes for each role and the strengths that make them relevant at high levels of play.

Top Mid Heroes

Invoker

Invoker remains one of the most versatile heroes in the mid-lane. His strengths lie in his immense damage output and survivability, thanks to his ability to alter his spells depending on the situation. In patch 7.37e, he has become slightly more balanced but remains an ideal choice for experienced players. With a build focused on Wex and Quas, and fast Witch Blade and Pyke, he can control the map and effectively pressure enemies.

Queen of Pain

With her insane burst damage and high mobility, Queen of Pain is a terrifying opponent in the mid-lane. With a Dagon and Kaya by the 15-minute mark, she deals enormous damage, and in the late game, with Shiva’s Guard and Octarine Core, she becomes nearly unkillable. She is a hero perfect for aggressive play and constant kills.

Puck

One of the most mobile and controlling heroes on the mid-lane, Puck excels at countering popular heroes like Storm Spirit or Queen of Pain, and is able to move around the map quickly, collecting runes and keeping opponents at bay.

Top Carry Heroes

Alchemist

Despite changes in the meta, Alchemist remains a strong pick. His ability to farm quickly and become dominant in the late game makes him an excellent choice for carry. With fast Blink Dagger and Radiance, he can begin actively participating in fights and dismantling enemies.

Dragon Knight

A strong laner and excellent tank. With his immense survivability and ability to quickly engage in fights using his ultimate, he becomes a formidable hero in the mid- game. Following the nerfs to Luna and SF, his popularity has increased.

Spectre

Due to changes in the game’s pace and the decrease in the number of tempo carries, Spectre has made a return to the meta, offering fantastic mobility and damage at all stages of the game. She is especially effective against weaker carries and can silently scout the map with her ultimate.

Top Off-laners (Hard Lane)

Beastmaster

In patch 7.37e, Beastmaster remains a powerful hero. He has returned to the popular build with his boars and aura, allowing him to not only control the lane effectively but also assist the team in battles. His Wild Hunt and Beast Mode abilities provide him with flexibility and great team utility in fights.

Dawnbreaker

Dawnbreaker is a beast on the lane, capable of dealing massive damage and farming quickly. With an ultimate that allows her to act independently of team movements and a powerful armour buff, she is not just a great off-laner, but also a hero for successful teamfights.

Visage

Visage remains a strong off-laner with an excellent win rate. His auras and ability to actively push with his team continue to make him a valuable hero. Even with changes in patch 7.37e, where his gargoyles can no longer be recalled with his ultimate, he still remains a solid pick for map control and pressure on the enemy.

Top Support Heroes

Lich

Lich is one of the strongest supports in patch 7.37e, and his win rate at 8000 MMR proves it. With his constant Frost Blast spam, powerful teamfight presence with his ultimate and shard, and the health regeneration for allies through Frost Shield, he can dramatically alter the course of a game by supporting his team and blocking enemy attacks.

Shadow Demon

Shadow Demon remains a powerful support with excellent flexibility. His ultimate can influence the outcome of fights by creating illusions of enemies and turning the tide in teamfights. In a meta where heroes like Alchemist or Morphling are present, Shadow Demon will always be in demand.

Ogre Magi

Ogre continues to be one of the simplest yet most effective supports. With strong starting stats and a powerful power spike at level 2, he can apply pressure in lane and support his team with Ignite and Fireblast. In patch 7.37e, his utility remains unchanged, and he is still a great pick for any team.

Conclusion

Patch 7.37e has brought numerous changes to the Dota 2 meta, but certain heroes remain at the top of their game due to their versatility and strong stats. Whether it’s mid, carry, off-lane, or support, each of the heroes mentioned above provides players with excellent opportunities to secure victory.
