Streamer Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov discussed various play styles of professional Dota 2 teams during his personal Twitch stream, highlighting BetBoom Team, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Spirit as the top teams in different aspects.
Kuznetsov noted that BetBoom Team excels in laning, with their players being among the best laners in the game. However, he pointed out that since the game doesn’t end in the laning phase, the BetBoom Team struggles to win tournaments.
He remarked that Gaimin Gladiators are the best at snowballing, stating that once they start a snowball, it becomes nearly impossible to stop. He mentioned the aggressive play style of dyarchy was a key factor in their dominance.
In contrast, Kuznetsov praised Team Spirit as the best team for playing as the second party, asserting that no other team in the world plays this role better.
The International 2024 will begin on 4th September, featuring BetBoom Team, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Spirit among the six top teams invited to the tournament. At the time of publication, the prize pool for the event stands at $2.24 million and continues to grow through the sale of the compendium and levels.
