BLACKARXANGEL: Eastern Europe is very strong in Dota 2 right now

Professional player, former captain of No Sorry, analyst, and Dota 2 commentator, Vladislav BLACKARXANGEL Ivashchenko, specially commented for Cybersport.Metaratings.ru on Valve's decision to allocate one slot from the Eastern European qualifiers for The International 13.

Ivashchenko believes that all six teams rightfully received invitations to The International 13:

«I believe that all the invitations to The International 13 are deserved, and each of the invited teams should indeed be at the tournament. Well, who else if not them? I simply don't even understand if there are teams that deserve a slot at The International 13 more than the six presented?», — Vladislav BLACKARXANGEL Ivashchenko.

BLACKARXANGEL noted that one slot for the Eastern European qualifiers for TI13 is insufficient:

«Indeed, it's upsetting that Eastern Europe only has one slot, not two. The organizers decided that if too many teams from our region came, others might have serious problems. Eastern Europe is very strong right now. I would even say we have some 'dark horses' that could shine at The International 13. It's a pity that only one 'dark horse' will qualify for TI13», — Vladislav BLACKARXANGEL Ivashchenko.

Valve, the publisher of the Dota 2 game, announced the dates for the world championship in this discipline. The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, and will consist of three stages.

Valve also announced the six invited teams to the main tournament of the year. Invitations went to Team Spirit, Team Liquid, Gaming Gladiators, Team Falcons, Xtreme Gaming, and BetBoom Team.
