BetBoom Team coach Anatoly "boo1k" Ivanov explained why he missed PGL Wallachia Season 1 in Dota 2. He admitted that one reason was burnout during ESL One Birmingham 2024.
"Even I took a certain break. I wasn't at the last two tournaments. They wrote about my allergy and that there wouldn't be food in Romania. That's true. But that's one of the arguments. The second is that I really needed a rest. I realized that I let the team down at ESL One Birmingham 2024. I didn't handle it.
You feel you're almost at the limit and maximum, but you still don't take the map. It seems so close, but it turns out to be very far. I realized I needed a break to deal with my problems and understand how to help the guys.
How did I rest? I went to the gym, meditated, and spent time with my wife. I took care of my health. I thought a lot about how to prevent this from happening again," shared Anatoly "boo1k" Ivanov.
BetBoom Team representatives stated that Ivanov missed PGL Wallachia Season 1 due to an allergy. Without the coach, the team didn't make it past the group stage.
