Changes in Esports: M80, Aurora Gaming, and Natus Vincere Update Their Rosters

M80

Recent news in esports have brought several significant changes to the rosters of major organisations. One of the key events was the official acquisition of the Peru beastcoast by the North American organisation M80. The deal includes not only the Dota 2 team but also beastcoast’s media business, including its Pokémon project, which generates over 175 million video views per year. This acquisition will support M80’s continued growth as one of the fastest-growing esports organisations in North America. The first challenge will be ESL One Bangkok 2024, taking place from 9 to 15 December in Thailand, with a prize pool of $1 million.

The beastcoast roster is now as follows:

  • Yheremi "payk" Arroyo (Peru)
  • Luis "Lumpy" Vilarreal (Peru)
  • Mario "ILICH-" Valdivia (Peru)
  • Yelsthin "Elmisho" Hurtado (Peru)
  • Joel "MoOz" Ozambela (Peru)

Aurora Gaming

Aurora Gaming has also updated its roster, bringing back Malaysian support player Chan "Oli" Chon Kien, who played for the team from November 2023 to September 2024. This decision followed the benching of players Aybek "TA2000" Tokayev and Arman "Malady" Orazbaev. Aurora was invited to the MESA Invitational 2024, which will take place from 10 to 15 December in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with a prize pool of $100,000. The team will compete with the following roster:

  • Abed "Abed" Yusop (Philippines)
  • Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong (Thailand)
  • Worawit "Q" Mekchai (Thailand)
  • Chan "Oli" Chon Kien (Malaysia, stand-in)

Natus Vincere has also updated its NAVI Junior roster. Bakhyt "Zayac" Emiljanov from Kyrgyzstan replaced Tamir "Daze" Tokpanov in the fourth position. Tokpanov was benched and placed on the transfer list as part of a roster reorganisation aimed at improving the team’s performance. The new NAVI Junior roster is:

  • Taras "gotthejuice" Linnikov (Ukraine)
  • Artem "Niku" Bachkur (Ukraine)
  • Yuriy "pma" Prots (Ukraine)
  • Bakhyt "Zayac" Emiljanov (Kyrgyzstan)
  • Stanislav "Riddys" Mitroshkin (Ukraine)
