Collapse on the final: "If this game had lasted 30 seconds longer, I would have died."

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov gave an interview after winning PGL Wallachia Season 1 in Dota 2. He noted Xtreme Gaming's incredible resilience, which made the final so close and thrilling.

"I'm very happy, but at the same time very tired. Eight maps from eight in the morning, of course... 3 years ago at this time in Bucharest [at TI10] I was full of energy, but now I... really want to sleep. <...>

In the end, we took Roshan, and Xtreme started coming after us. Larl said he wouldn't buy back. So we decided to wait for his resurrection. It turned out that Yatoro caught Enchantress, and then Faceless Void joined, put the dome, and knocked out Aegis. I see that I can help and I buy back. I don't remember what the calls were. Yatoro just said he would destroy them.

In the end, we killed three of them, went for the throne, and tried to save the creep wave so there wouldn't be a backdoor. In the end, Pangolier went to stop it, and we caught him, and then Puck. Then we didn't see any creeps, and Xtreme wrote 'GG,' only after that did we breathe out. If this game had lasted 30 seconds longer, I swear I would have died. <...>

I was sitting, playing against Xtreme, and thinking: 'How much longer? Why aren't they giving up?' I kept thinking that the opponents had to make a mistake, but it didn't happen. They hardly make any mistakes. Only if we outplay them ourselves, they keep running around and resisting, never giving up, like some monsters. The final was very difficult. Probably the most difficult final of my entire career."

Team Spirit defeated Xtreme Gaming with a score of 3:2. Spirit earned $300,000 for the victory. This is the team's first title since winning The International 2023.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 took place from May 10 to 19 in Romania. The teams competed for a million dollars. BetBoom Team and Virtus.pro failed in the tournament, unable to advance from the group stage.
