Collapse spoke out about persistent Chinese fans

Magomed 'Collapse' Khalilov shared his thoughts on the 7.37 patch and his impressions of Clavision: Snow Ruyi in a team vlog from Team Spirit, released on their official YouTube channel.

Regarding patch 7.37, Khalilov noted that heroes with high first-pick (FP) rates, such as Weaver, Tiny, and Beastmaster, had been nerfed. He observed that these heroes, especially Weaver and Tiny, had their pick rates reduced, with both being notably weakened. Despite this, Weaver remains viable as a carry.

He commented that the nerf to auras was not overly significant, but that items like Guardian Greaves, Pipe of Insight, and Crimson Guard had indeed become weaker overall.

Khalilov suggested that builds for previously dominant heroes like Beastmaster and Brewmaster would diversify due to the changes, particularly with Beastmaster's Aghanim's Scepter being nerfed. This might lead players to explore different aspects of the hero, historically known for his summoning abilities.

Additionally, he mentioned the emergence of some new summoners in the meta. For instance, Visage now benefits from a new aspect that enhances farming, while Lycan has become notably stronger with the new wolves. At level 11, these wolves, despite a bug where their maximum level armour boost is not yet functioning, have powerful abilities such as root, 100% miss chance for 8 seconds, increased attack speed, and additional movement speed.

On the topic of Mars, Khalilov strongly advised against purchasing auras for him, emphasising that Mars should focus on dealing damage rather than supporting or buying auras.

Regarding Clavision: Snow Ruyi, Khalilov was somewhat indifferent. He found the tournament to be average but was particularly struck by the persistent and intrusive behaviour of some fans. He recounted an experience where fans took photos of him eating in the dining area through the windows. He was also disappointed with the arena setup, describing the bass sounds during fights as excessively loud. Overall, he felt the tournament was standard and did not have high expectations.

Team Spirit, representing Russia, secured second place at Clavision: Snow Ruyi, losing to Xtreme Gaming from China in the grand final.
