Streamer Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev condemned gamers who pick Broodmother in Dota 2 matchmaking. However, Shakhmurzaev wouldn't mind playing the hero in a competitive setting.
"I'm so fed up with the scoundrels who play Broodmother. A hero for scoundrels. If you play it well, it's really a strong character. I might learn to play it, but I'm afraid of becoming a scoundrel. But if I were competing professionally, I would definitely pick up this hero in the current patch, 100%," Cooman said.
In mid-June 2024, Cooman announced his retirement. He was a professional player from 2016 to 2022. One of Shakhmurzaev's best achievements was third place at WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon with Virtus.pro.
