Streamer Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev explained why he is not considering returning to the professional Dota 2 scene during a recent broadcast.
He mentioned that to play Dota professionally, one must live and breathe the game, and he is uncertain if he is ready for that commitment. He noted that his life has changed significantly, and while he knows he can still play well, his age and increased responsibilities have altered his priorities. He emphasised that it’s not about being too old to perform well but rather about the increased obligations in his life.
Cooman’s last professional team was Team Empire, which he left in May 2022. His playing career spanned around five years, during which he earned approximately $45,000 in prize money.
