Former professional player Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev speculated on BetBoom Team’s future after Riyadh Masters 2024 in Dota 2. He believes the club might disband after their poor performance.
"Looking from the outside, yes, it’s real that BB Team might disband," said Shakhmurzaev. "Because they are currently playing poorly, but they can always regroup."
BetBoom Team had an unsteady group stage, finishing 5-9 in maps and losing to all the favorites. The team continues in the lower bracket playoffs, having eliminated Entity in the first round. Next, they will face Xtreme Gaming at 12:00 MSK on July 19.
Riyadh Masters 2024 runs from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia, with teams competing for $5 million. Shakhmurzaev is partially covering the event on his personal streams.
