Support player for Team Falcons, Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen, reflected on the reasons behind their loss in the PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 final. In an interview with BLAST.tv, he discussed the team's performance and singled out David "Parker" Niho Flores for his outstanding individual performance.
“At PGL Wallachia, we were a bit rusty after the break following The International 2024. Our gameplay wasn’t up to standard, and if there had been more teams in the tournament, I’m not sure if we would have even made it to the final.
On the final day, Heroic had a packed schedule, but they were simply in better shape than us. In my opinion, Parker delivered one of the best individual performances I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t recall anyone outshining the others to such an extent, and he was undoubtedly the best player of the tournament. That’s why we lost — on that day, he was playing on another level.”
The grand final of PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 took place on October 13, with Team Falcons being defeated 1-3 by Heroic. Parker was named the tournament’s MVP and also topped the charts for the highest average KDA, surpassing Oliver "Skiter" Lepko and Indji "Shad" Lyuba.
On November 20, Heroic announced that they had removed Parker from the roster, citing unprofessional behaviour as the reason behind the decision. Later, the player gave his perspective on the situation, revealing conflicts with other team members, including Cedrik "Davai Lama" Dekmin.
