Entity Gaming player Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin discussed the earnings of Dota 2 esports players. According to him, Team Liquid paid Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg about $25,000 a month.
"I heard that zai received around $25,000 playing for Team Liquid. I'm not sure how true that is. I think it was definitely $20,000. This was in 2023 when Liquid was finishing second in tournaments. Zai did enormous work with the team. He deserved that salary. Ludwig was the captain, drafter, and leader. He played 100 heroes. He's a great guy."

Zai played for Team Liquid from 2021 to 2023. During that time, the club won three DPC tours and became the runner-up in three majors and the Riyadh Masters 2023, as well as the bronze medalist at The International 2022. Soon after TI12, Wåhlberg moved to the management of Tundra Esports.
