Dota 2 releases Act 4: Crownfall

On the night of 8 November, Valve released the concluding chapter of the Fallen Crown event for Dota 2. This final act features three narrative branches, additional quests, and mini-games.

The developers described the fourth act as an epic conclusion to the journey that has taken players through the modest streets of Crossroads, the deceptive red sands of Druid, the icy wastelands of Icewrack, and finally to the throne room of Thorn's Nest to confront the Empire. The act offers an expansive map with three storylines, side quests, mini-games, and the opportunity not only to thwart the Empire but also to unlock new Arcana styles for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit. Players are encouraged to prepare for plundering the kingdom's treasures on their way to the palace.

Rewards for completing the fourth act have also been announced:

"We've prepared explorer rewards for the fourth act, including new special towers of Skree'Ok and Avillyva, as well as new Immortal items. Additionally, those who possess explorer packs for each act will receive a special surprise. On the map of the fourth act, they will have the chance to visit the snake charmer and obtain exclusive stickers featuring characters from Fallen Crown."

The release of the final act also coincided with the introduction of a new hero, Kez, an agility-based carry with dual modes based on his chosen weapon.
