Dota's popularity in China has not died down yet

Commentator Vladimir 'Maelstorm' Kuzminov remarked on the dedication of Chinese Dota 2 fans to the game. He wrote about the audience supporting teams in the rain on his personal Telegram channel.

He noted the irony of the tournament being held at an open stadium with ski jump ramps, where even the rain didn't stop people from coming to watch Dota. He pointed out that the popularity of this game in China is evident, unlike in many other places.

On 2nd August, the match between Natus Vincere and Azure Ray at Clavision: Snow Ruyi was suspended for 70 minutes due to a thunderstorm.
