Dread: "BetBoom Team is the Epitome of How Great Individual Players Can Perform Awfully as a Team"

Streamer Andrey "Dread" Golubev criticized the BetBoom Team, stating that while the players are individually skilled, they fall short as a cohesive unit on the professional Dota 2 stage.

"BB is the epitome of how outstanding players individually can perform terribly as a team," Dread stated, "It's as if you couldn't find a worse example. If these five players were to play randomly in matchmaking, they might do better than they do at the professional level. It's shocking how poorly the BB Team executes team decisions. They have games where they're incredibly passive and play second fiddle. The team is remarkably one-dimensional."

Content creator Albert "G-spott" Arifov likened the team's situation to the plot of the anime Blue Lock, which revolves around assembling a group of selfish forwards in soccer to create one exceptional player.

"Have you watched the anime Blue Lock about soccer? The concept is that they gather a bunch of selfish forwards to make one great player. It feels like that's what’s happening here. They’ve put together five attackers, all of whom are selfish. And nothing can bind them together as a team," explained Albert "G-spott" Arifov.
