The Chinese esports player Ding "Dy" Cong has announced his departure from Xtreme Gaming's Dota 2 roster and his retirement from professional Dota 2.
Dy had been competing on the pro scene since 2017, representing teams such as VG.Potential, Taichi Gaming, Vici Gaming, and Xtreme Gaming. Throughout his career, he earned $1.3 million in prize money.
Xtreme Gaming recently placed 5th-6th at The International 2024 in Copenhagen, securing $91,000 in prize winnings. The team also achieved a top-8 finish at the Riyadh Masters 2024.
