"Everyone sits on their butts." NS on the harm of esports

Analyst Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov discussed how sports and esports affect health. He compared the training of players to regular office work, which many people do.

"Esports ruins health... I'm not an expert, haven't done it, and haven't been close to it, but I've heard that professional high-level sports, especially in some disciplines, ruin health very seriously.

Athletes have all their joints worn out by the age of 30, and everything goes to hell. I don't have acquaintances, but I can assume there's some truth to it. The body is too exhausted to squeeze out everything possible.

When they say sports are beneficial, they mean physical culture and moderate sports. Physical culture is beneficial, super intense sports are another question. If you engage in moderate sports, it's beneficial for your health.

Any kind of esports is harmful to health: moderate or intense. You're just sitting on your butt. I won't say it's a bad occupation. Our people sit on their butts... Probably 50% of jobs in big cities involve sitting on your but," NS expressed.

Earlier, Kuznetsov speculated about the release date of the compendium for The International 2024. He believes that a special event dedicated to the tournament will begin in August.
