FC CSKA may open a Dota 2 roster

The professional football club CSKA is planning to establish an esports division by signing a Dota 2 roster, according to the Metaratings.ru portal, which cited its sources.

It is reported that the Team N1ntendo roster, which qualified for the closed Eastern European qualifiers for the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 tournament, may join the club. As of the time of publication, CSKA representatives had not commented on the rumours regarding the potential signing.

In the first qualification match, Team N1ntendo is set to face One Move, with the match scheduled for 25 September at 14:00 Moscow time.

The closed qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, covering Eastern Europe, will take place from 25 to 27 September. Eight teams will compete for a spot in the main event.
