From 23rd to 27th December, the closed qualifiers for Eastern Europe will take place for the upcoming FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025 Dota 2 championship, set to be held in Belgrade from 24th January to 2nd February. The tournament will feature 16 teams, including 11 invited ones, with a total prize pool of $1 million.
Invited Teams and Open Qualifiers
Among the invited teams are some of the brightest stars of the Eastern European scene: 1WIN, World Chimera Esports, L1GA TEAM, 9Pandas, and One Move. They will be joined by the winners of the open qualifiers – HYDRA, Nemiga Gaming, and 4Pirates. These 8 teams will battle it out for a single spot in the final tournament, which promises to be action-packed and highly competitive.
Qualifier Format
The closed qualifiers will be played in a Double-elimination format. All matches, except the grand final, will be played in a Best of 3 (bo3) format, while the grand final will be in Best of 5 (bo5). Only one team from all participants will secure a spot in the main tournament.
