Virtus.pro's Dota 2 support player Artem «Fng» Barshak evaluated the team's performance in the Riyadh Masters 2024 qualifiers. During a stream, he noted that the final result could have been different, but ultimately things worked out in favor of VP.
Artem «Fng» Barshak:
«The qualifiers [for Riyadh Masters 2024] were, I don't know. We could have easily lost the final. Based on NAVI's drafts, they definitely had all the chances, and generally speaking, based on the outcomes. They could have easily taken the first and third games, the second game could have been tough for them at times, but we also played poorly. But somehow, we managed to survive in the late game»
The closed qualifiers for the Riyadh Masters 2024 for Eastern Europe took place online from May 31 to June 2. Teams competed for one slot in the LAN final with a prize pool of $5 million, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from July 4 to 21.
