G2 and Invictus Gaming have ended their partnership

The esports organisation G2 has announced the end of its collaboration with the Chinese club Invictus Gaming. The official announcement was shared on G2's page on social media platform X.

G2 stated that the partnership with iG has come to a mutual agreement to part ways. They expressed gratitude to iG for their support in launching G2's first team in China and thanked the players of the G2.iG Dota 2 roster for representing G2 on the global stage.

G2 also affirmed its commitment to building its fan base in China, stating that it will continue to support local fans and hope to return in the future.

It’s worth noting that after The International 2024, only one player from the previous iG roster remains: Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao. The new members of the team include Jin "flyfly" Zhiyi, Zhou "Emo" Yi, Nicholas "zeal" Lim from Malaysia, and Wilson "poloson" Koh from Singapore.
