Gaimin Gladiators Explain Why Their Chairs Are "Dressed" in Jerseys at DL S23

Gaimin Gladiators manager Oleg "Jak2oO" Porotnikov explained why the team has dressed their chairs in club jerseys during DreamLeague Season 23 in Dota 2. The team took this step due to PGL's requirements.

Gaimin Gladiators are competing in DL S23 from Romania, where they played in PGL Wallachia Season 1. Since the practice chairs have the logo of a competing TO, the teams must cover them in various ways as per ESL's requirements. Heroic's players used tape to cover the unwanted logos, while Liquid's players did nothing.

"By the way, PGL didn't allow us to tape their chairs (to avoid damage). So to avoid any sanctions from the tournament operators, our chairs got dressed up." - Oleg "Jak2oO" Porotnikov.

DreamLeague Season 23 is taking place online from May 20 to 26. Twelve teams are competing for a million dollars and 26,100 EPT points, essential for qualifying for Riyadh Masters 2024. Gaimin Gladiators started the tournament with two victories, defeating PSG Quest and Xtreme Gaming.
