The Asian esports club from the Philippines, PH Geek Fam, has announced changes to its Dota 2 lineup. The team bid farewell to two players simultaneously: Mc "Mac" Villanueva and Ryan "Raging Potato" Qui, both from the Philippines. The latter acted as a stand-in for the team during the recent qualifiers.
The roster has been bolstered by two new additions: midlaner Mark Anthony "Bob" Urbina and fourth position support John "Jing" Duyan, both hailing from the Philippines. Urbina was recently released from Execration, another Filipino team, while Duyan had previously represented Geek Fam; the team parted ways with him just a couple of weeks ago.
Geek Fam secured a spot in the top 12 at the "Games of the Future 2024" in Kazan but fell short in the qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham 2024, the Elite League, and DreamLeague Season 23.
Here's the updated roster for Geek Fam:
- John "Natsumi-" Vargas from the Philippines
- Mark Anthony "Bob" Urbina from the Philippines
- Joshua "avataRmod3" Maraño from the Philippines
- John "Jing" Duyan from the Philippines
- Rolen "skem" Ong from the Philippines
