Gyrocopter has a special ability due to his innate characteristic: he can dismantle most items, except for the Rapier and Midas. When Gyrocopter dismantles and then reassembles Drums of Endurance, the item’s charges are refreshed!
It seems that Dota 2 treats this action as if you've purchased a new Drum of Endurance. For other heroes, the charges are only refreshed upon repurchasing the item.
This remarkable trait makes the Gyrocopter an exceptional support. Even though the item recharges after assembly, you no longer need to worry about conserving charges. Need to boost your carry in the jungle? Go ahead! Speed up your off laner heading back to base? Absolutely! When the charges run out, just dismantle and reassemble for a fresh set.
Moreover, upgrading to Boots of Bearing becomes less critical. While the bonuses from the upgrade are minimal, you already have infinite charges by dismantling and reassembling Drums of Endurance.
