Content creator Illidan shared his thoughts on the strongest heroes during the laning stage in Dota 2 during a personal Twitch stream while watching the match between Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming at The International 2024. The stream segment was later posted on the Telegram channel LEGENDWP.
Illidan remarked that the current Medusa, when paired with Undying, is the strongest laner in the game. He noted that there isn't a lane combination that can stand up to these heroes effectively.
In the third game of the series, Xtreme Gaming selected Medusa and Undying, leading to a decisive victory with a score of 26:4. As a result, Team Spirit was eliminated from the event, while Xtreme progressed to the third round of the lower bracket.
Earlier, Illidan had criticised the carry player from Heroic, Hector "K1" Rodriguez, after Heroic's match against Tundra Esports. He stated that K1 failed to utilise the potential of Monkey King's ultimate, labelling him as "the worst bum."
