Professional player and streamer Igor “iLTW” Filatov shared his thoughts on Dota 2. He expressed that he feels like he’s wasting his time by continuing to play in matchmaking.
“I don’t know or understand why it feels this way,” said Filatov. “When I play Dota... It doesn't matter what rank I have. Whether it's the lowest or the highest. When I play ranked games, it feels like I'm throwing my life away. At least streaming it makes it a bit better because we can laugh and have fun together. It’s just awful, I’m telling you.”, stated Igor “iLTW” Filatov.
Earlier, Filatov attempted to form a team to participate in the open qualifiers for The International 2024. The potential team members included Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko and Rostislav “rostislav_999” Protasenya. However, all three missed the qualifiers, making it unlikely they will compete in the World Championship.
ILTW has been absent from the professional scene since mid-2022. His last team was Nigma Galaxy. Since then, he has not found a new team and has only participated in Streamers Battle tournaments. Filatov streams actively on Twitch, going live almost every day.
