Imba of the patch

Esports player Vladimir 'RodjER' Nikogosyan discussed hero imbalance in Dota 2 and shared his thoughts on the Tinker 'four' during a live Twitch stream.

Nikogosyan commented that the recent success of Xtreme Gaming highlighted the imbalance of Tinker, suggesting that teams might ban him at The International. He agreed with Russia's Sikle from Team Spirit on some points, noting that Tinker's strength now lies in his healing capabilities, which enhances his team fight potential.

He explained that hero imbalance in Dota 2 stems from their effectiveness across all stages of the game. For instance, Hoodwink is strong in the laning phase, mid-game, and late game. The same applies to Jakiro and, currently, Tinker. Tinker provides free farm for the off-laner and remains powerful in the late game.

Nikogosyan speculated that Tinker might be adjusted before The International. He suggested that adding healing to the Shard effect could balance the hero, making him strong from the 15-minute mark onwards while being less dominant before that.

Previously, Nikogosyan had criticised the performance of China's Wan 'Ame' Chunyu in the match between Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming.
