INSaNiA: "BB Team just isn’t cut out to win tournaments."

Team Liquid's Dota 2 support player Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkoi commented on the form of BetBoom Team. In his opinion, the team will never be able to win a tournament.

"To be honest, every time I watch a tournament, I hope that China wins. That's the second-best outcome for me after our victory. I was happy when Xtreme won the Elite League. I like watching finals where both teams play well. I don't care about the match result; I'll respect them regardless. But I don't want to watch a final between the Falcons and the BetBoom Team... No chance. <...>

I don't care about the Falcons winning again; they've already won a lot, but BetBoom Team... I feel like these players just aren't cut out to win tournaments. It's like they're missing the final step. We in Liquid have similar problems. I don't believe they'll ever win a tournament. Yes, they're very good players, I respect them. But the ESL One Birmingham final was boring. I knew since the morning that the BetBoom Team wouldn't be able to win. The Falcons would beat any team, but Tundra would have had a better chance. <...>

If there's a final between us and the BetBoom Team, there simply won't be a winner (laughs). The organizers will just cancel the tournament. If BB Team had won Birmingham in the end, I would have been very impressed. But I knew they couldn't. I really like their players; you can't say I hate them." - Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkoi

BetBoom Team finished second at ESL One Birmingham 2024, losing to Team Falcons in the final with a score of 0:3. In March, Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek's lineup lost to them with the same result at DreamLeague Season 22. This result became the record for the club in LAN tournaments since entering the discipline.

The next event for the BB Team will be PGL Wallachia Season 1. The championship will take place from May 10 to 19 in Romania. The prize pool will be one million dollars. From Eastern Europe, Virtus.pro and Team Spirit will also compete in the tournament.
