Commentator Alexander "JAM" Korotkov discussed the Riyadh Masters 2024 meta in Dota 2. He believes that analysts will struggle to predict winners since teams haven't fully understood the patch.
"I expect a tight competition on the new patch and possibly unpredictable outcomes. It's become much harder to forecast: the patch came out — the meta changed. Some heroes are returning to the game, and many teams find it difficult to gauge these characters' strengths. Plus, old strategies need to be remembered: how to play against specific heroes, and how to counter them. There's a lot of uncertain analysis regarding match outcomes," JAM explained.
Riyadh Masters 2024 will be held from July 19 to 30 in Saudi Arabia, with teams competing for $5 million. The tournament will be commented on by the FUSSIRE studio, which secured rights until 2026.
