Team Spirit's manager Dmitry 'Korb3n' Belov discussed the potential return of Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk to the professional Dota 2 scene during a stream.
Belov mentioned that Yatoro could join any team, perhaps even Team Spirit again, although he acknowledged that it is quite likely that Ilya will return to competitive Dota. When asked if there was a zero chance of seeing him back with Team Spirit, he expressed confusion at that notion. He posited a hypothetical situation where, if by February things were not going well for Team Spirit after six months of poor performance, Ilya might say he is ready to return after a break. In that case, the door would be open for him.
However, he clarified that if Team Spirit were performing well and Ilya expressed a desire to return in April, there would likely be no room for him in the lineup. They had previously discussed this and agreed not to remove anyone from the roster, despite Ilya's legendary status. Earlier, Belov noted that the team plans to assemble a new roster rather than bringing in stand-ins, following the hiatus taken by Yatoro and Mira from competitive play.
