Team Spirit manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov shared that team support bundles, absent from the game since the DPC's cancellation, will return to The International 2024 in Dota 2. He expects unique content from various clubs.
"Nature has cleared, and now we can say that the elimination of DPC seasons has been beneficial. Almost a year later, there are many tier-2 tournaments. Respect to EPL, CCT, Relog, and everyone involved. Birds have whispered that there will be team bundles at The International. That's cool. I crave team content to the fullest. We're flying to Riyadh tomorrow; expect goofy photos and funny circles from the players on Telegram," Korb3n expressed.
In summer 2023, Valve announced they would not release an annual Battle Pass for The International 2023, replacing it with a player- and match-focused themed event. The championship ended up with a prize pool of $3.3 million, the worst since The International 2013.
The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The prize pool will be announced later. Valve has not yet announced the themed event for the tournament.
