Team Spirit released the second episode in their series of motivational videos for Dota 2 players. The second speaker is manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov. The video was posted on the club's social media.
The video references the film "Full Metal Jacket." Belov takes on the role of the tough Sergeant Hartman, originally played by Ronald Lee Ermey. In the original movie, the harsh instructor prepares recruits for the Vietnam War. Korb3n, however, recommended that Dota players do the same as the Spirit team members—work out with kettlebells.
"I don't understand, recruits, why are we sitting around watching videos? Do you think you know something about 'Dota'? You know nothing. From this moment on, your life belongs to me. Your MMR means nothing. You eat, you crap, and you press the search button when I tell you. For you, there are now only two words: 'understood' and 'accepted.' So now, wipe off your drool, suck in your guts, and start lifting kettlebells. How will this help you in 'Dota'? I don't know, but it has worked so far," Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov commanded.
Previously, Spirit released the first part of the motivational videos. The hero of that episode was Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov in the guise of Captain America. You can learn more about it on our website.
Team Spirit is currently resting before the Riyadh Masters 2024. The championship will be held from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. Teams will compete for a $5 million prize pool. The team will start their performance on the group stage. Matches will be commented on by the FUSSIRE studio, which has secured rights until 2026.
