Midlaner Denis "Larl" Sigitov from Team Spirit, a team from Eastern Europe, identified their main rivals for The International 2024 in Dota 2.
He pointed out Team Falcons as a notable opponent, along with Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, and Tundra Esports. He mentioned BetBoom Team as a particularly challenging team to face, referring to them as a top contender from the CIS region.
When asked about the team’s preparation for this International compared to the previous one, he expressed confidence in both his and the team's readiness. He noted that their preparation was similar to before, though this time they finished second at the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational and in the top 7-8 at the Riyadh Masters 2024, compared to winning two tournaments consecutively before the last International.
Overall, he stated that their preparation remains the same with extensive practice and hero analysis. He also acknowledged the possibility of a patch being released after the online tournaments, which might require them to adapt their strategies. Nevertheless, he felt that they had a strong chance of winning TI13.
The International 2024 takes place from 4th to 15th September in Copenhagen, Denmark, with 16 teams competing. The prize pool has exceeded $2.4 million and continues to grow with sales of the compendium.
