Lukawa about BB's decision to keep Nightfall over Pure

In a personal Twitch stream, BetBoom Team manager Luka 'Lukawa' Nasuashvili explained why the team retained Egor 'Nightfall' Grigorenko instead of Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko, and commented on Nightfall’s decision to change his nickname to "Saika".

Regarding the choice to keep Nightfall over Pure, Nasuashvili stated that the decision was made based on their continued confidence in Nightfall. He explained that different individuals have different qualities, priorities, and expectations, which influence such decisions. The choice was made after considering all these factors.

On the topic of Nightfall’s nickname change to "Saika", Nasuashvili clarified that the change was prompted by a yearly opportunity to reset nicknames on a Dota site. Nightfall took advantage of this reset. He pointed out that many players have changed their nicknames, such as Malady and 23savage, and emphasised that the timing of Nightfall’s change was coincidental rather than strategic. He noted that while some may have noticed the similarity in timing between Nightfall’s and Yatoro’s nickname changes, there was no additional logic behind it.

Previously, streamer Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov criticised BetBoom Team for their draft weaknesses and predictability.
