Maelstorm: "Team Falcons' refusal to talk on camera provided so much content"

Commentator Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov shared his thoughts on the conflict between World Team Falcons and content creator Alexander "Nix" Levin on his personal Telegram channel.

"Who is right from an ethical standpoint? Nobody.

The reactions in the comments illustrate this well. Most people aren’t saying one side is right; they’re simply hating on the other, which shows their 'sympathies.' Whoever is in the wrong, the main thing is to be against these 'scoundrels.'

If we had slightly different rules, Team Falcons could have faced consequences for their behaviour a long time ago. Even with the current rules, the organisation could have disciplined the team if they weren’t so strong and important.

The same goes the other way around. Here, there's a sort of double standard. The bigger the community caster, the more they can get away with, but the reaction will also be more intense. For example, if a small community caster does something wrong and it gets noticed, that would be their last broadcast. On the other hand, who cares about the words of those who aren’t heard? If a headliner does something similar, nobody will sever ties with them for the same reason that applies to Team Falcons: they’re too valuable an asset. The only thing that saves them is the notion of 'oh, it's just a community caster, not an official one.'

Imagine what would happen to an official caster who got involved in something like this. Their career would be over instantly. Although this also depends on the scale. The reasons for kicking a newcomer might not even be clearly stated. You remember Mushi on Sand King, right? If not, look it up.

So it turns out that both sides do things that others are not allowed to do while hiding behind the position of 'what about you?'

If we set aside the high morals, I believe everyone is doing what they think is right.

Why not? Ammar has his own views and, as Aui said, he doesn’t care what anyone says. Aui is trying to defend the team and it’s clear that he cares a lot more about what others say about them than anyone else.

As for the casters, they’re putting on a show—don’t say they’re not. It’s a pity that such conflicts are rare in official casting.

The saddest part of such situations is when conflicts reach a terminal stage and everyone just starts ignoring each other, leading to a lack of content. In this case, Team Falcons refusing to speak on camera provided more content than any interview could have.

That’s all."

Previously, World Team Falcons coach Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling stated that he had asked his players not to interact with content creator Alexander "Nix" Levin.
