The rights to broadcast The International 2024 in Russian might be acquired by Paragon Events, according to information from Metaratings.ru. As of the publication, the studio has not commented on these rumours.
It is not yet officially confirmed who will handle the coverage of the 2024 championship. For The International 2023, the Russian broadcast was organised by FISSURE. On March 18, Paragon Events announced a multi-year agreement with the tournament operator PGL, securing exclusive rights to cover PGL's tournaments in Russian. On July 27, it was revealed that Valve is no longer organising TI tournaments; PGL has taken over the event management.
The International 2024 will take place from September 9 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Six teams have received direct invites: Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gladiators, and BetBoom Team. The remaining teams qualified through regional qualifiers.
