MESA Invitational 2024: New Participants and Substitutions Ahead of the Tournament

Next month, Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, will host the MESA Invitational 2024 — one of the most anticipated Dota 2 tournaments of the year. Scheduled to run from 10 to 15 December, the event will bring together eight of the world’s strongest teams to compete for a total prize pool of $100,000.

Direct Invitations and Final Line-Up

It was recently announced that World Aurora Gaming has received a direct invitation to the LAN tournament. Previously invited teams include:

  • Talon Esports
  • Team Secret
  • The MongolZ
  • NAVI Junior
  • Yakult’s Brothers

The remaining two slots were filled by qualified teams: Sable Hat and AnimeVesta.

Talon Esports: Natsumi- Joins as a Stand-In

World Talon Esports has made roster adjustments, with Filipino player John "Natsumi-" Vargas, formerly of Blacklist International, stepping in as a stand-in for the first position. He replaces Eljohn "Akashi" Andales, who was removed from the roster last month.
