Team Spirit support Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov reacted to his team's elimination from The International 2024 in Dota 2. The esports player shared his thoughts following their defeat against Xtreme Gaming on his Telegram channel.
He expressed sadness over their early exit, noting that despite their best efforts, they couldn't advance further. He added that they would see their fans in the next season, or perhaps not, and thanked everyone for their support.
The match between Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming ended 1-2, with Spirit finishing in 9th-12th place, meaning the TI12 champions will not perform in front of a live audience.
The International 2024 takes place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark. The teams are competing for a $2.49 million prize pool, which continues to grow through compendium sales and its levels.
