Team Spirit player Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov reflected on his public disagreement with Dota 2 streamer Alexander “Nix” Levin. Mira regretted his decision to engage in a public debate instead of dismissing the criticism.
“I thought I played well in that match on Tiny,” Mira recounted. “It seemed like we even won that game. After the match, I came across this clip of Nix criticizing me. All I ever read from him directed at me was just baseless hate.”
Mira explained that he had only met Nix twice. “We saw each other in Singapore and exchanged just a few words, not really engaging in any dialogue. Then I saw this nonsense from him, which could only come from someone who doesn’t really understand Dota 2.”
Reflecting on the incident, I tried to engage in a serious discussion. But most people won’t understand who’s right because they lack enough knowledge of the game. I should have just trolled him instead of trying to have a dialogue. That was a mistake. The conversation escalated into something I regretted participating in,” admitted Mira.
The conflict arose when Nix criticized Mira's actions during a Roshan fight on the first map of a match against OG at the FISSURE & ESB Elite League 2024. Mira responded by pointing out the low quality of Nix’s analysis.
