More FISSURE Dota 2 Tournaments Sponsored by BetBoom

From my vantage point at the Ghastly Eyrie, I can confidently declare that next year's competitive calendar is well underway!

Dota 2 is experiencing a peak in its competitive scene, with an impressive number of Tier 1 tournaments announced. Just today, a press release unveiled five new FISSURE Dota 2 Tournaments, along with specific dates for the next BetBoom Dacha.

As previously noted, FISSURE has been co-organizing the Elite League in partnership with Electronic Sports Broadcast (ESB). Hence, some of these tournament dates may coincide with that franchise. For esports enthusiasts following Dota 2, mark these events on your calendars:

  • BetBoom Dacha 2024: October 19-27, 2024
  • Tournament #1: January 24 - February 2, 2025
  • Tournament #2: March 18-27, 2025
  • Tournament #3: August 1-10, 2025
  • Tournament #4: October 24 - November 2, 2025
  • Tournament #5: December 16 - 22, 2025

Dota 2 Tier 1 Calendar for 2024
The FISSURE Dota 2 Tournaments will further enrich this year's already-packed competitive schedule. However, specific dates for The International have yet to be confirmed. All we know is that it will take place in Copenhagen in September 2024. Third-party tournaments have aimed to avoid scheduling conflicts during that month, recognizing players' focus on the most significant event of the year.

Tournament Dates Announced Format

  • DreamLeague S23: May 20 - 26, Online
  • Riyadh Masters 2024 (Closed Qualifiers): May 31 - June 04, Online
  • Riyadh Masters 2024: July 03 - 21, LAN
  • Elite League S2: July 24 - August 04, LAN
  • The International: September, LAN
  • BetBoom Dacha #2, 2024: October 19 - 27, LAN
  • PGL Tournament (name TBD): November 07 - 16, LAN
  • Blast Slam: November 26 - December 01, TBA
  • Elite League S3: November 27 - December 06, TBA

- Elite League S3 and BLAST Slam Date Conflict: ESB has not announced any changes to the dates or cancellation of Elite League S3. Their roadmap for Elite League (formerly known as Liga ESB) was released at the beginning of the year, so adjustments may occur. However, collaboration with BLAST remains a possibility as the dates align almost exactly.
