Nix about patch 7.37b

During a Twitch stream, content creator Alexander 'Nix' Levin shared his thoughts on the Dota 2 patch 7.37b.

He expressed his view that the developer appears to be targeting heroes that are problematic at lower ranks, such as Wraith King, which is rarely played competitively or at high MMR. According to Nix, the developer seems to be a low-MMR player fixing issues that affect him in matchmaking. He also noted that the patch nerfed heroes with unusually high win rates, like Tinker and Ember Spirit, which he described as "overpowered" due to their win rates approaching 58%. Nix criticized the patch for addressing these heroes based on feedback from Reddit and suggested that it reflects a trend of balancing patches after IceFrog's departure.

The balance patch 7.37b was released on the evening of 14 August. In addition to nerfing Tinker and Ember Spirit, other changes were made to various heroes.
