Streamer Alexander "Nix" Levin was dissatisfied with Team Spirit's draft on the first map against Team Liquid in the Riyadh Masters 2024 playoffs in Dota 2. He believes the team did not adapt to the current meta.
"These strategies don't work in the current meta. Team Spirit needs to adapt as quickly as possible. They have 15-20 minutes for this. They don't understand the meta, just like I didn't before this match. Team Spirit is playing last year's Dota, which doesn't work," explained Alexander "Nix" Levin.
Team Spirit lost to Team Liquid 0:2. Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidyonov's team fell to the lower bracket, where they will play against LGD Gaming on July 17 at 7:00 PM Moscow time.
Riyadh Masters 2024 takes place from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. The prize pool is $5 million. Team Spirit entered the tournament as the reigning champions of the Esports World Cup.
