During a stream with Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov, esports player and tournament participant Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko reported that there were issues with the aspects of the hero Lone Druid during The International 2024. He noted that this hero had two aspects working throughout the entire tournament, which was a unique case in the game. The team only became aware of this after their defeat when their analyst had previously warned that Lone Druid was a strong hero; however, it was only later realised that he had two aspects active: armour and healing, along with an effect from his ultimate that was not mentioned in the description but still provided HP.
Additionally, No[o]ne recalled that Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev faced several issues during the third game of the match against Gaimin Gladiators in the series for a spot in the grand final of TI13. He mentioned that the ability Scorched Earth had stopped dealing damage and that in the final fight, RAMZES's ultimate did not activate, which he found absurd.
The International 2024 took place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark, where 16 teams competed for over $2.6 million. In the grand final, Team Liquid triumphed over Gaimin Gladiators with a score of 3:0.
